Church Security Training: Securing All That Has Been Entrusted To You

“We do not fear the evil of this world”

A personal relationship with Christ means we know the eternal love of our Father. However, for responsible church leaders, there are more intentional steps to be taken to ensure that you are providing the best security plan for those that come to hear the gospel. It used to be unthinkable, but the modern church must be prepared to face threats unimagined even twenty years ago.

Cool Solutions Group has developed a  program that is designed to assist any size church in creating the best culture and foundation for church security. Our process will help your congregation consider and define what it is they expect from a security program, and what they are willing to support.

“If you are serious about your church’s security, don’t wait!”

Training includes:

  • Church Readiness Evaluation
    • Current church concerns explored and defined as well as determining the congregational level of support for security measures.
  • Policy Review and Development
    • Review of current adopted policies and procedures.
    • Any areas of concern will be identified and addressed.
  • Security Equipment
    • Evaluation of current security equipment in use.
    • Training on available equipment easily incorporated into a church security environment.
  • Personnel Roles and Responsibilities
    • Evaluation of current personnel roles utilized in the security plan.
    • Training on additional roles and responsibilities for security personnel to include intervention capable.

If you are serious about security in your church, don’t wait! Now is the time to begin investing; develop your plan before the storm, not during. Let us help you build the best foundation possible.

In Times Like These…

On November 5th the team at Cool Solutions Group began Sunday like many others across the country. We set about getting ready for worship, prepared our hearts and minds, and looking forward to a time of renewal and community. Then the calls and reports started pouring in. Churches across the nation heard and reacted to reports of a church shooting in Texas. As many of you did, we began praying for all those involved.

As the scale of the event in Texas was revealed, our hearts broke. How do we respond? How do you deal with the craziness of such acts? What can we do? How can you help? How should we, as believers, react?

Turning to scripture, an answer become clear to me:

“22 Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. 23 But you, God, will bring down the wicked into the pit of decay; the bloodthirsty and deceitful will not live out half their days. But as for me, I trust in you.” (Psalm 55, 22-23. HCSB)

God has made it clear that He hears our cries, and we can cast all our fears on Him. So, we are. The team at Cool Solutions Group is praying for our brothers and sisters in Texas and we ask that you do the same. There will be opportunities in the coming weeks to continue in the support of the community and to minister to those personally affected; we encourage you to participate as you can. God sustains us, He keeps us from being shaken, and He is trustworthy in all His promises to us. The events in Texas on November 5th were horrible, but we will not be shaken or dissuaded.  Have faith, pray for our communities, and be intentional in the steps you take to protect your church.

“Have faith, pray for our communities, and be intentional in the steps you take to protect your church.”

Our passion is partnering with churches across the country to help them become the best stewards possible with the facilities He has entrusted to them…including the safety of those who enter in our facilities. Our heart is with all believers across the nation as we struggle to process this reality.

As the days and weeks progress we encourage everyone to take a moment and continue to lift each other up. Together we will survive and thrive through times like this; our foundation is solid. We are humbled and honored to serve alongside you…the bride of Christ.
